Morning Musume 54th single

Morning Musume first single after Reina's graduation is also their 54th single and possibly last single before 12th generation. This single is double a-side as well as their recent single Brainstorming/Kimi sae Ireba Nani mo Iranai, which was also Reina's last single.

This single is titled Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no JOKE (わがまま 気のまま 愛のジョーク) / Ai no Gundan (愛の軍団). UpFront has translated the titles as "Selfish, easy going,Jokes of love" and " "GUNDAN" of the love" but I can say the better translation for Ai no Gundan could be "Army of Love" o\

I bet there is someone in UFP who ships MaaDuu (Masaki SatoxHaruka Kudo) since they have been together in every b-side. When MoMusu started to do different b-sides with different line ups, they've been together: Seishun Doman'naka (9th gen) › Futsuu no Shojo A (Reina, Masaki, Haruka) › Nani wa Tomo Are! (Erina, Kanon, Masaki, Haruka) › Itsumo to Onnaji no Seifuku de (Riho, Kanon, Masaki, Haruka, Sakura) › Bouya
Well I don't mind - Maachan is my current MM oshi and I like MaaDuu since they are as airhead as W were. Or Maachan is that airhead, Duu is that "normal" one :P

I'm still excited of the b-sides and I believe Bouya sounds like Suki da na Kimi Ga/La La La no Pi Pi Pi/Aishuu Romantic/Tokimeku Tokimeke since there is Sayumi, Mizuki and Haruna. Girls I mentioned have high voices what sounds cute when you put a little autotune there.
Funwari Koibito Ichinensei... Hmm. I wish it's like Riho's and Sakura's Daisuki Dakara Zettai Yurusansai (Help Me!! b-side) - RnB stylish song with gansta vibes :D
Morning Musume together b-side, Makeru Ki Shinai Konya no Shoubu, is possibly either normal idol-song without autotune (Love Innovation, Happy Daisakusen) or has same style as a-sides has (A B C D E-cha E-cha Shitai)

(Promotional) Costumes
To be honest - when I first saw these, I was like "NO please I just... NO!" and I wished these would be just concert costumes or something.
Do you remember Ambitious! Yashindeki Ii Jan? The costumes. They look so awkward to dance so I doubted these are just costumes for covers or close ups, not for the dance. After seeing the musicvideos I can say that I was wrong. These are ok outifts - also for dancing.

(May I also say I love how Maachan is the centre and how she and Sakura has foreheads? :3)

Covers
Limited A › Limited B
Limited C › Limited D › Limited E
Regular A › Regular B
I'm little bit disappointed. Of course the picture is LQ so we can't see much, but I've seen better ones ^ ^;
I think Limited B is the best, but I'll buy Regular A or Limited D since I'd like to have Sayu, Mizuki, Haruna, Masaki and Haruka-song.

Anyway, as much as I can see, I could say the center girls are Riho, Sakura and Mizuki. Masaki is getting a little bit more attention than the other girls. I'm not sure about Ayumi, since she is centre (behind Riho) in Limited A but she is still in the back in Limited D (if I'm not mistaken).

Musicvideos & Songs
Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke

I prefer more this catchy, a bit dramatic, mysterious and dubstep-ish song. When this was performed first time at Hello!Project Summer 2013 concerts, people said this was Sakura-lead. My reaction was very calm, like "oh. Sakura? Wow. She is great singer so why not" and I waited something like Resonant Blue or Mr. Moonlight as what comes to sololines. The song was also "disco" so I started to wait Pepper Keibu o\
When I heard the concert rip, all the things I waited were rubbish. Why on the Earth I was waiting for crappy eurobeat-song with one or two singers from 90's?! :P

If we talk about the song first, I'd like to tell how much I love those strong "a~i~sa~re~ta~i"-lines in the every end of chorus. Mizuki's "aisaretai" is awesome, but it sounded a lot better in the concert rip u_u That last "aisaretai", what belongs to Maachan, is more than awesome. To be honest - I expect it was Riho's or Mizuki's... I didn't ever realise Maachan - that girl with high and childish nascal voice - could sing that strong way!
Sayumi's whisper in the beginning ("Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joku ----") is also very catchy. It's also the way I learned to spell the name right o\ It's great the song starts with whisper and becomes stronger and EXPLORES when the chorus starts haha. The dubstep part before first verse where the girls are doing hard looking dance is also great. It's cool way to start the song.
Chorus is the most catching part, expecially those slaps and "aisaretai aisaretai"-parts.

When I saw the little preview of the musicvideo on MezamashiTV (Japanese morning-show, I don't know how could I explain it. Finnish people knows shows like Huomenta Suomi where is news, the weather, guests like politics, artists and popular people, so something like that.) I suddenly remember why I love Morning Musume and this current line up so much. Girls are working so hard!
I'm glad there is 2 different outfits - those dresses and then black jeans+shirt combination. I also noticed when they have for example that black outfit they are back in the audience. And when they have the dresses the camera is in the audience. Get it?

Dance looks cool, but it's a shame they don't have any material from air. Girls made different figures like ?, M (I'm not sure if it was W) and X. Check out the Hello! Pro Station #26 to see the concert version!

Here is my personal favourites from this MV:
Maachan and Eripon having an eye-contact :DD

Zukki forgot to slap Maachan o\

Eripon's serious face while Maachan and Riho are having fun(?)

Riho and her badass slapping ( / . A . / )

Ai no Gundan

This song came first when Hello! Pro Station had the dance shot at episode #25. I was in love with the song but as I said, I prefer Wagamama more.
Do you hate when some part of the song is playing inside your head? I do! And before Wagamama came (I was at camp but I had phone so I was able to listen Ai no Gundan o\) either the saxophone from the beginning or the "honto? hontoo?" was playing in my head like all the time :D:

Overall the song works well and I'd like to start to play saxophone so I could play the intro o\
I was very surprised to see that Masaki really got sololine in the first verse (that means when MoMusu is going to perform this song in live, she'll sing that) AND the center part in sometimes.

The MV is cool and I like the outfits. When I heard the name of the song first time I started to expect same army-outfits as Rival Survival 2010-tour had. But I like these too - they look like matadors!
I saw Wagamama MV before Ai no Gundan MV so I had pretty low expects with it. That's way I surprised of those white-parts! So fresh and beautiful *__*

There is pretty much autotune but I think it's fine. Morning Musume sings their songs live instead of lipsyncin' so I trust this sounds as great as live as studio and autotuned version.

Favourite parts:
The bubbles ♪ UFP tried to mask that glitter from dance shot as bubbles but... xD lol nice try bro

The dance. It looks cool and reminds me of Kimagure Princess so I'll learn it when I have time!
Masaki and her death stare ( / n \ )
All of the white-parts (I found just one by quick search) ♥

Oh, do not forget this!
Someone from 2ch made this and it's about how Erina hit Tree-chan :D Can you notice it?
